I like it.
Controlled setting, calibrated plates, so that you know that someone in the gym at Pure Gym down the road isn't, I mean, I have a squat record at a gym at Edinburgh that's 240.
I know for a fact the 20 kilo plates I was using weighed 18.7 kilos each.
So it was a very speedy 240.
But with that information, I could gamify the untapped games if I wanted to.
So I think calibrated plates, comp spec, judge commands, 1RM.
And then that way it's standardized.
One RM means what?
One rep max.
Oh, so you want it to be higher, but just one rep max?
That would be a way to standardize it in the channel that owns the bench press.
Because I think my logic would be... So what would 110 for 10 be?
Is that 140?
You can become more conditioned to reps, but yeah, if you put it into a calculator, it'd probably be about 140, 142 and a half.
Doesn't work as neatly with numbers, but I mean, what's 250 pounds...
250 pounds is about 120 kilos.
That's not enough.
That's not enough.
Yeah, I think three plates.
But then again, US three plates is 143, UK three plates is 140.
