Vance Joseph, to me, looks like someone you'd love to have as a defensive coordinator, but I don't think you'd want him in your... I don't think that you want to hire him as head coach just to get that.

I don't think that it's that good that you need to have it that way, and I don't think that he's shown anything in his past as a head coach that makes me want to get him.

And here's something that really super concerned me.

You mentioned the quarterbacks he had to deal with, and I'm not going to hold him against...

having a record of five and 11 and then six and 10 with, like you said, Paxton Lynch, Brock Osweiler, Trevor Simeon in case Keenum.

Here's the thing though, in 2018, after having Lynch Osweiler and Simeon, which is probably the worst quarterback room I've ever seen.

You have the number five overall pick, and you went Bradley Chubb over Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson in the same draft.

Now, is that possibly that John Elway is terrible at talent evaluation?

It doesn't matter because, to me, it worries me because you didn't pound the table and implore, like, I cannot win with this quarterback room, period.

The fact that you went into the next year as Case Keenum is your starter is concerning, that you did not see that as being an issue that was going to severely impact your ability to be a head coach, that you just went ahead and just took Bradley Chubb.

And the fact that you're a defensive coordinator by nature on top of it almost makes me even more worried that you're like, well, my defense will be so good it'll be just fine.

Now, I don't know any of that, but it's definitely speculation, but it's definitely a question I'm asking him in an interview.

Yeah, I mean, make no mistake about it.

Like I said, his defense is definitely awesome.

It's fun to watch.

I think that that stuff's really, really cool that he's blitzing out of cover four and cover six and having a guy like Hafunga who can just kind of roam around the field and be a wrecking ball.
