I think that that stuff's exciting.
I think that it forces... I think that's the way to coach defense is coach it like you have an offense.
Just...
Don't let a team go down there and do what they want to do.
And we'll definitely get into this when we get to Lou Anarumo.
I'm not a fan of giving up yards and bending, not breaking.
Go out there and make them change what they like to do.
Make the offense uncomfortable.
Do not let a quarterback sit back and be comfortable.
Make him have to think.
Make him have to do things he's not used to be doing.
And I think that Van Joseph does a great job of doing that stuff.
It's just...
Like you said before, the guys that have head coaching experience are always going to have more negatives against them because for everybody else that has none of that, it's just a question mark for us.
For this, there's palpable, tangible things that we can look and point at and be like, this is definitely wrong.
And for me, if you're going to be that guy, you have to... I don't want a guy working with Joe Shane that isn't like...
sure of what he's doing and making good hires if you're coming in as a coordinator.
And I don't get the sense with Vance Joseph that he's going to be that guy and kind of lead Joe Shane in the direction that the team needs to go in and that he needs to go in to be successful.
So I'm very lukewarm on Vance Joseph, but that says nothing of the actual defense that he runs.
Yeah, I mean, the Tampa thing is a really long time ago.
