So it feels to me that in a sense, we volunteer then, the soul volunteers for a three-dimensional incarnation.
And in that primordial state of being souls, we know exactly what the parameters are, what life is like on planet Earth.
I think we're excellent biologists at that stage.
You know, we're excellent geneticists at that stage.
We have all the data we need.
But we agree to kind of the limitation of our faculties in order to experience stuff as a problem.
And a problem is an invitation to self-transcendence.
I remember an old man in Africa said to me one time,
You know, I was big into community development.
I was a headmaster for high school.
I was involved with agricultural projects or water projects, whatever.
And so we were trained to go into an area, figure out what the needs of the community are, who the leaders are, what the problems are, what the solutions are.
And I'm given a spiel one day, sitting outside at a meeting with a bunch of the elders.
And this old man is smiling as I'm talking, and I'm talking, you know, we need, water is our big problem here.
I got a contact in Europe that I can kind of get some kind of pipes, you know, you supply the labor and we'll bring water to the village.
It'll be a two-year project.
And this old man's smiling and saying to me, can I ask you a question?
And he said, I'm sure.
I'm 26 years old.
I'm Irish.
