My dad was a minor league baseball player in the White Sox organization in the 70s.
I mean, he was out pitching, throwing wiffle ball for the whole neighborhood when we were kids.
That was we you know, we all wanted to play.
I was I was there was a kid who played with us, Brian Steinbach, who became freshman of the year at Michigan.
And I was talking to J.J.
Putz and I'm like, were you there when Brian Steinbach was there?
He's like the big German.
I'm like, no, the pookie bear.
That's we called him the pookie bear.
Putz played with him at the same time.
And down down the hallway in the dorms was Tom Brady.
How crazy is all that?
Well, you know what?
Hockey players, too, talk about how when Gretzky was playing, and this is blasphemous to me, but they're like, listen, Gretzky, he wasn't the size of these guys now.
I mean, it was a different game back then.
He was elite skill-wise, but everybody's got skill now, and they talk about how they just run over guys or skate over guys.
No, I just love Jordan too much, guys.
I don't even care.
