And that's what made me want to get the hell out of Texas.

That happened in Texas.

I woke up in the middle of the night and somebody was leaning over me in the dark with a knife at my throat.

And that's the first sentence of that episode.

And I didn't start it that way to be sensationalist.

I started it that way because that was such a traumatic event in my life.

And it propelled me to get out of Texas.

It gave me the courage to just move out and try to put my past behind me.

But I jumped.

He said in a very raspy voice, if you move or say anything, I'll kill you.

I jumped up and tried to scream.

But, you know, it was one of those things when it won't come out.
