But would you give up all that you can have if you feel like your ceiling is winning the East and losing to the Thunder in the finals?

And is there any move that you could possibly make in which your ceiling wouldn't be winning the East and losing to the Thunder in the finals?

And if that's the case, will that affect how you act?

I think teams are just asking themselves that question right now.

Certain teams are, ones who I've spoken to certainly are.

It's reminiscent to a degree of when KD was on the Warriors and there were teams who were like,

We're just going to wait this thing out.

The big difference is that the KD Warriors thing, you know, KD went there and free agency signed a one year deal.

He resigned one year deal.

He resigned one year deal.

Then he was gone.

There was always like a sort of lingering question of like, how long will KD really do?

There was a shot clock on the whole thing.

Right.

Yeah, exactly.

And so you could wait it out.
