You want to be able to be at your best when your best players are out there.

And right now the Cavs are struggling in that.

Now, I think not having Garland is one of the, I don't think it's talked about enough.

Yeah.

Just all the stuff Garland's gone through.

I think that is number one on the list by far.

Well, look, a huge part of their success last year.

Honestly, I think all of this is related to Garland.

Because people think of Donovan Mitchell as the guy on that team.

And don't get me wrong, he is.

But a huge part of their success last year was him taking a legitimate step back.

And he got a lot of credit for kind of putting his ego to the side and saying, you know what, whatever it takes to win, I'm not going to handle as much.

I'm not going to facilitate as much.

I'm going to give up shots.

I'm going to give up whatever it takes.

And he took a lot of very deserved credit.

The effect of that was Darius Garland is really going to be the one who runs the offense.

Mitchell is going to have Mitchell possessions and he's going to make the right basketball play.

But Darius Garland is going to be the best three point creator on this team.

He's going to run the most pick and roll.
