They're not allowed to take in more money than they give out in a deal because they're over the first apron.

There are all of these restrictions on how they can structure trades and make these deals.

On top of that, there are an unusual amount of teams in the league that are going to be looking to get off of money before the deadline.

There are a lot of teams like S's Raptors who are just kind of barely in the tax.

You don't want to be in the tax and that team, you're going to have an objective to try to get out of the tax.

You want to try and find ways to get out of the CACs, but it's really hard to make trades in season right now.

And so I think it's going to be really difficult for them to be able to do anything consequential with this roster in season.

If anything big happens, I think the most likely scenario is it happens in the offseason.

I feel kind of the same way about Giannis right now.

I feel the same way about a lot of these big names.

It's just going to be really hard to get a lot of these deals done just to pull them off from a math perspective.

It is really hard to make trades in the NBA right now.

I don't know, but I do know that I've spoken to people in the league who are kind of asking themselves that question right now.
