It was, like, so mortifying, you know?
And it's interesting because you know when to quit when you're the funniest guy on the show.
Because those shows aren't run by like amazing comedians, right?
If the fact that they have to get barkers means like the people on the bill are like they're trading for spots or whatever.
And they're very nice people.
But like you do get to a point you're like, oh, I'm the funniest person on the show and I'm the guy selling tickets.

It's interesting.
New York had so many...
opportunities for stage time like in independent shows and independent shows like clubs and all that like i never really was in at any club i tried oh yeah i just i had a hard time getting in i remember like gosh like this was like forever ago i would like line up once a year to sign up for a comic strip audition yeah and then like if that guy forgot his name oh no lucian was gone by then
The Eddie Murphy guy.
