Okay, this is Mercer and the River Motorway.

So Mercer up here, you've got quite a big truck stop here in Mercer.

Again, if you want to do a bit of doggy or hang out the back of a truckie, this is a good place to do it because it's very, very quiet at night.

The Macca's here closes quite early, so don't expect late-night Macca's here.

I found that out quite a few times driving back from the Tron.

I mean, it's got a handy mobile, but like I said, Mercer Cheese is based here as well.

So if you're into a bit of cheese, you can stop.

There's a little bit of a fromagerie.

I love cheese.

But on the right, you've got the first glimpse of the mighty Waikato.

We've got the Aquafit here as well on the right.

So what's the Aquafit?

Is it a... It's more a pipe extrusion, custom fabrication piping.

What goes on a Mercer?

See, this on the left here is Mercer, a little village.

On the right here is the Mercer kind of truck stop area.

Named after Captain Henry Mercer.

Captain Henry Mercer, he was killed in the Rangariri in 1863.
