That's what I'm wondering as well.
The people who are holding up these signs.
Do they have a clear understanding of what happened or is it being spun to them?
So at issue among many of the protesters is the way that Kimmel responded to his statement in the skit.
Kimmel said, kill everyone in China.
OK, that's an interesting idea.
So then Kimmel said on air, I do want to apologize to all of you if I upset you.
We should not have put that on the air.
But then when he was talking to Chinese journalists, he said, well, in America, we have freedom of the press.
