trust you know a lot of young people find it hard to give trust because they've not experienced those early years in that environment and then because my granddad had standards of the basics you know his shoes were polished every morning because he had that military background he always had a tie on he'd take his hat off if he saw walk past a lady so

He was around when I started playing for Crystal Palace.

He didn't quite get there to see me play for England, but without a doubt, when I stood and sung the national anthem the first time in an England shirt, he was one of the people I was thinking of, yeah.
