So they red flagged it, fixed all the barriers at the end of the back straight.

In the period before that, our engine program was, so if you say 07, 08, 09, our engine program was the best program by far.
But we pretty much ran, I feel like we pretty much ran the same spec engine.
This is back when you could do engine stuff.
We ran pretty much the same spec engine for, you know, 11, 12, 13, 14.
And so by the time Car of the Future came, our engine program was well behind.
So I remember being at Bathurst and we actually ended up with a pretty good car in 13, which was the first year car of the future.
And you come onto Conrod and then they just go, phew, the KRE cars.
Brad Jones was using KRE engines, Triple Eight, obviously KRE engines.
And they'd come on, leave Forest Elbow and just like disappear.
And like, you go through the chase, brake 50 meters later, then I'm catch back up again.
And then they just disappear up Mountain Straight again.
So that actually, we probably didn't recognize that until much later in the year, until we got to Bathurst.
And there was a lot where they just sort of like, yeah, we're HRT, we know what we're doing.
And by then the sport had changed and, you know, it just didn't get on.
