So we have kids whose frontal lobes aren't yet developed.
They haven't mastered the sound judgment of adulthood, which, by the way, kicks in around age 25.
How do we know that?
Because that is when insurance companies...
lower the cost of insurance on automobiles and everything else for that matter.
They know that there's something magical that happens between 24 and 26 where people start using better judgment.
They settle down.
So it's amazing what you can take from those actuarial tables and literally apply to parenting.

Well, he sleeps between my wife and I this morning, 6 o'clock in the morning.
He's a cockapoo-ossy-poo mix.
So he's Australian Shepherd, Cocker Spaniel, and two poodles are in there.
And he has long legs, bushy eyebrows.
He looks like Karl Marx or not Karl Marx.
No, the Marx Brothers.
And at six o'clock in the morning, this dog is pawing at my chest, leaning over, licking my face, waking me up.
I say he's doing a wellness check.
