The FA are a charity.
I think the profit is around... Is it ยฃ100 million a year that they have to distribute amongst the whole game?
That's grassroots, the whole thing.
The bottom club in the Premier League get ยฃ100 million.
So if it was actually shared, and there was a shared success between, and there was a joined approach between FA and Premier League, you'd then get to a point whereby they'd see each other's interests.
But at this moment in time, the pathway for young players in this country is a lot tougher than it should be.
You mentioned City and Chelsea.
They've become really great, successful football clubs over this last 15 years.
They've obviously had a long history, but they really have done fantastic things if you look at what they've done in terms of success in the Premier League and some of the football they've played.
putting three or four young players into their squad or into their team won't make them richer financially, but it'll make them richer clubs in other ways because the connection with the fans, the perception of them from outside would be so much stronger.
You think about that attachment to players who come from the area.
I don't think that's what they quite understand.
Maybe they understand it, but they haven't got the nerve yet to go for it.
But when they do go for it, the value that they'll get will not be financial, but it'll be in other ways that you just can't really put a figure on.
I don't think it is pie in the sky.
I think ultimately, you know, I think that that obviously is a talented bunch.
But I think that the job of a youth coach, the job of a professional coach, is to give a young player a football career, a professional career.
That's got to be the aim.
You can't always guarantee England internationally.
You can't always guarantee playing for the top clubs.
