This is a bit more excusable because you're talking about kids under 10 years old, right?
Like, the police had to come and take these kids out.

And also, it's good for those of us who believe in that video games can make good movies. I don't know if the Minecraft movie is good or not. I haven't seen it. But the fact that it made a lot of money is much more important than whether or not it was any good. Yeah.

If it had been a great fucking movie but made no money, it would have been very bad for people like me that are currently working on the next video game movie that we want to see in theaters or whatever. But it made a ton of money, and so it just helps the next one. This plus Super Mario Bros., Last of Us being very successful, they've all helped. Rising tide lifts all boats, right?

And I think Minecraft is a really tricky one because, again, the primary audience for it, and I know there are older, you know, young adults and people of all ages that play Minecraft. I get that. But the primary audience, let's not kid ourselves, is children. Yeah. Right? For Minecraft.

Yeah. The Fortnite... Again, my uncle who works at Epic, don't get me started into what's going on there, but... The Fortnite movie just got, not that it was going to be a big, a hard sell anyway, just got a lot easier to make. Oh, yeah. Because Fortnite and Minecraft are essentially in the same category.

From the studio point of view, it's a question of whether or not Epic would actually want to do it, because they really hold the keys.
