The local steel challenge that has been delayed is going off this Sunday.

So I signed up at 9 o'clock this morning.

About four of the older gentlemen I've mentioned before in my local range that shoot the Thursday night matches, they're going to be there.

So we're going to have some really good guidance, some tutelage on the firing line with me.

I'm actually really excited.

For us, the range they use here is called Palo Alto.

It's a big outdoor shooting complex.

It's not just one type of range.

They have a spread.

There's a 500-yard rifle range on one end, and then there's pistol bays out in a cartwheel pattern away from it and all that.

But to get the berms up high enough so nobody's endangering anybody else, it retains water every time it rains.

It takes days for it to dry.

Because if you go like a day or two after the rain, you're still walking in like two inches of mud.
