I just feel like there are people taking advantage of people who want a quick fix.
They want to feel good and I get it.
But what I keep seeing that is really upsetting me is people promoting these unregulated peptides.
So I'm not talking about people who are going to a doctor and they've been prescribed something that's already out there.
I'm talking about this new wave of things that are coming through.
Again, I don't have judgment on whatever you want to take them for, but my issue is that they are pushing them
as this like quick thing.
You know, unfortunately I looked on my TikTok the other day and there was just three posts in a row.
One was like a girl in the kitchen, you know, pulling from a vial and talking about how, you know, good it's been taking this.
Now, again, the issue is not
what we're trying to do, get healthier, blah, blah, blah.
My issue is having access and pushing something when these people are getting a kickback.
We need to remember that if someone is making an entire TikTok account dedicated to pushing a peptide, they are doing it because this is marketing.
Marketing is the same thing like when I first got Herbalife, when I was desperate to lose weight when I was younger.
It's the same thing.
It's the same flavor.
Someone who is biased, who is selling you something, who is getting a kickback is pushing something online.
And my issue is that not everyone qualifies or needs it.
You need to go through the process to see if you are.
And two, it's really we're missing the lifestyle part that Kate spoke about.
