It could be the difference between not finding somebody and finding somebody.

I think that last but not least, the case of Robert Narak, who was a British soldier who was murdered and buried in Ravensdale, just south of the border.

His name has been associated with all sorts of murder and mayhem and what have you.

We are absolutely 100% satisfied that he was not involved in any of this stuff.

A lot of the allegations that have been made against him have surfaced in books and films and what have you.

And it's not been helped by the British Ministry of Defence, who, whenever they're questioned, say we will neither confirm nor deny, you know, which is their stock response to everything.

And it's grossly, grossly unfair to his family.

Because their records prove, beyond any reasonable doubt, that Robert Narak, he wasn't even in Ireland when the majority of these... I think there are five cases.

Four of those cases, he wasn't even in Ireland when these events occurred.

And the fifth one, he was involved in an operation in Derry.

And the case, the event took place in County Monaghan.

So, you know, we can prove beyond any reasonable doubt he couldn't possibly have done it.

But, of course, this stuff, because the Ministry of Defence has not...

said all they have to do is say well we don't we neither confirm nor divine cases such as this however we can confirm that robert narak wasn't in ireland at the time or whatever they should have done that 20 years ago and we wouldn't be where we are now yeah and as you said like that's a frustrating thing there because like these are government ministries they have resources that could actually help and the least thing you're looking for is just some confirmation
