I will admit, you've changed me in all ways, in shapes and forms, and never told me to change.
It was your actions that made me change.
It was, it was, I don't think I would have done well if you were like, had your finger in my face telling me what to do.
No, I get that, bro.
I wouldn't want my daughter even looking at a man that doesn't have a relationship with God.
It's because of this.
If he's going to lead that house, if he's not leading you to God, he's leading you to hell.
Regardless of how amazing the man is.
It might be now, but the absence of God is death.
And so I would rather my daughter marry a man who's obsessed with Christ that's poor, a peasant, a dirt poor man that's struggling to put a meal on her table, but like gives her the word of God every day rather than, well, hold on, time out.
That's almost impossible because the gospel says that a good man of God provides.
So that's, I want to take that back.
It's impossible for that.
A good man that is after God's heart will always provide because God provides for him.
So I don't want anybody to hear that and think that's the case because it's not the case.
But what I'm trying to get at is I'd rather a man go after nothing on earth and chase after God's heart rather than a man who's counting paper and throwing money at his wife and like, hey, go shopping.
You know what I'm saying?
I feel like if his job is his God, then eventually he's like...
He's going to fall off with you.
I think the only reason I'm a better husband to you or even something that makes you excited is because of how much I fear God.
