You know, I think that the disease process is rare enough that I'm not sure that, you know, we talked about doing a trial when I was at the University of Washington and we can never figure out how to how to quite to get it done.
But.
anecdotally sure makes the wound look a lot better and smell a little bit better.
And we don't have a ton of, or I haven't had a ton of reinfections after secondary closure.
So I've been, been happy with that too.
Yeah.
So that's another thing we talked about as like ways that we might use chlorhexidine irrigation for some sort of four days trial.
We talked about it for wet to dry dressing as well.
The tough part is, at least when we looked at it, the Iricept bottle, we didn't know what to do with it.
You know, you like do a wet to dry and there's no like there's no cap.
Right.
And we didn't know what to do with like all the excess.
And it felt, you know, not right to waste it.
And, you know, I've always used Dakin's when I feel like I need something or Mathenide if it's a pseudomonal infection.
But but pretty much those two things I've never tried try to intercept.
But maybe maybe it's the next thing.
Yeah.
I've had a little bit of success with phrasing it as in no other situation would you treat cellulitis with excision.
Or at least I really harp on you only excise the necrotic stuff and then the cellulitis you try to salvage with antibiotics.
And you can you can reach some folks with that like, you know, cellulitis analogy.
