On Sunday, Hamas returned the remains of Lieutenant Hadar Golden, who was killed in Gaza in 2014, two hours after a negotiated ceasefire took effect.

Israeli officials confirmed his identity, and his parents told a local news outlet that he was given a proper Jewish burial.

Golden was 23 years old when he was killed.
