Because when I eat pickle, it makes me think I'm biting into a bird's neck.

I literally, I'm like, whatever that did in my brain, where the first time my eyes looked on that just went wrong.

Wrong.

Everything is wrong.

And yeah, it really ruined Pickle for me forever.

I'm like, God, I haven't laid eyes on that ever since.

I mean, I don't know.

When you were just like... I think I must have been... It was pre my dad dying, pre moving out of that first house.

So I must have been like...

12 or 13.

Again, and I also think it probably stuck with me more because like we said earlier, the lack of access to art was like, I didn't ever see things like that.

So when I sort of like ferreted that book off of my mum's shelf, I was really like fascinated by it.

And then this painting just hit me in the face like a physical blow.

I was like, there's something very wrong about what I'm looking at.

And I can't, you know, when you just look at a piece of art and it gives you that funny feeling in your stomach.

I'm not sure that it was even about the fact she's biting into a bird as much as it was like the colour of it.
