In sum, all of these measures added together, because the thing that I hear from landlords is, oh, but what if I have a bad tenant?
It'll be really difficult to get them out, etc.,
But if you are a really bad tenant, you're damaging the property, etc.
That hasn't changed, has it?
And the reality there is it's actually very difficult anyway for landlords to get people out.
The courts are all clogged up, all this sort of thing.
So will this materially, do you think, change that much to the system?
I see that argument that it is their property.
But in my trying to oversimplify this brain, I am a broadcaster.
I can't say what I want.
There are responsibilities that you have.
That property is more than just a possession.
It is someone else's home.
And I think too many, particularly letting agents, and I've moaned about this before, Simon, as you know, I've had some phenomenal landlords and I like that personal touch.
The letting agents, I think, don't care.
But the reality with that is anyone can be a letting agent.
