But then they talk about a lot of these cost of living measures in relation to the government being a five year cycle and that all their pledges and promises in the programme for government are going to be delivered over the course of five years.
But unfortunately, you know, people in many cases can't wait.
And even like, you know, some of the
Budget promises like five years, a lot can happen in people's lives in five years.
And so like the things that people need today in five years might be another priority.
And so that's where I think the government really needs to focus on that delivery of those cost of living measures, because people move on and there is a new challenge on the horizon.
And like, for example, like, you know, I'm at the stage now.
Like I'm renting at the moment, but I'm looking to buy a house.
And so there's been some talk about getting rid of stamp duty for first time buyers.
Do you mind me asking, if it's not too intrusive, in what sort of area of rent you're paying?
Oh, I'm paying like, so I share with my fiance and we're paying 2,100 a month.
Which I believe is a recent status offer.
exactly and planning a wedding it's not cheap either but obviously all a privilege to be able to do all those things and to be able to afford rent but it is expensive it's 2,100 euro a month to live in a one bed very small apartment a lovely one though
