What were your thoughts when you heard that news?

One of the reasons I really like what they're doing is the fact that they're not spending a lot of money on the quarterback position and won't.

I'm not saying they are or they aren't, but let's just say they did that.

And the idea was for him to come here, sit and watch Geno for a year, and he'd take over as the quarterback next year, and you hope you got it right and he's the right guy.

Let's just assume that for a second.

And they don't have to go sign a free agent quarterback or maybe need to draft another guy.

You're looking at five years without having to pay, or at least four years, without having to pay monster quarterback money.

And you're not going to win a Super Bowl either.

But you can build a damn good team around it, though.

Rick Pitino's going to make sure his guys think that this is the greatest team that's ever played in college basketball so that they're prepared for the game.
