I still like the team and think that if the pitching is very good, they can be right there with any team in the National League.

I think the way I reacted to that and why I was more, and I still am fine with Pete Alonso going, was just how many Mets fans were so unbelievably devastated over this when the Mets had not won with Pete Alonso.
And the year that he had a miserable season, they were a really, really good team.
you know and then the year we had a really good season they were a miserable team and there was clubhouse issues clearly and it was just one of those things where i was like okay like he's it's come to an end now and it's okay to move on from him but i would fight back because it was just like the it almost felt like the met fan wanted to lose with players they liked as opposed to win with guys they didn't know um and that's what that's what annoyed me about it but
