june july august september last year watching them play terrible baseball so you know when you're you finally get yourself past some of the things maybe you disagreed with in the offseason even though i didn't disagree with much and then you come out and that first game as we talked about how the lineups you know
And it feels like this team is disciplined at the plate.
And, you know, everybody's got the eye of Juan Soto.
To turn that into what we've seen here, which is just absolutely anemic offense, is frustrating.

It's not like the San Francisco Giants are some sort of juggernaut.
I mean, it's also annoying that you see the Yankees essentially, you know, shut down the Giants like they were a little league team.
And then when the Mets play him, you know, seven runs in that first game.
Yeah, that's a little bit annoying as well.
But of course, I mean, all the old adages continue about April and this and that.
You know, this is the time you're supposed to be excited about the team, and it's supposed to be fired up.

I want to be feeling that 5-1 feeling going to Yankee Stadium for opening day and seeing this team continue to play well.
And instead, we got a 3-4 team that was mentally checked out two days ago, is sloppy in the field and can't get a big hit.
