And in a subsequent BBC interview, Horner tried to repair the damage that had been caused by Marco.
Now, he said in a Red Bull Q&A that Marco now agreed it was a racing incident after looking at all the facts that weren't available immediately after the race.
And to the BBC, he said it was a mistake for any blame to have been put specifically on Webber.
Horner added, the problem is in the heat of the moment, immediately after an event, a couple of opinions were made without sight of all the facts.
And that's subsequently been dealt with.
It's wrong for us as a team to apportion blame.
What I found interesting, Horner talked about this in a lockdown interview he did on YouTube with David Coulthard in 2020, where he,
Horner admitted, he said, at the time, I remember feeling that Mark hadn't allowed Sebastian enough space.
But he went on to say that Webber squeezed him, but not unfairly, and that Vettel was a bit too greedy with how much track he wanted.
The one person who didn't say much in the days after the incident was Vettel, but he eventually gave an interview to the BBC as well.
where he said he was the leading car and usually the leader dictates where to go.
He accepted that he tried to come slowly back to the right, but he said he did that because he had already passed Webber.

As I've outlined there, it felt like every day there was a new piece of material, whether it's turning up in third-party media or Red Bull releasing more stuff.
I'm obliged at this point to mention what I think is the worst staged photo of all time that we ran in Autosport Mag.
Well, they basically got them together in the factory and got them both to shrug together.
Yeah, we put it in a magazine.
It's one of the pictures from that era that is not still on Red Bull Content Pool.
But I'll dig it out, like a scan of it or something, and I'll have to put it on social media because I just thought this shows that they're trying too hard and they're digging themselves too big a hole.
But yeah, what was it like trying to keep up with what at this point was just, as I said, I think I described it earlier, a runaway train.
