I thought they've got the right guy in place now.
I know, obviously, Davey...
years gone by done a brilliant job and you can't take that away from him but it was time for a different voice Marv went in there and I think everybody complimented that you know organisation I'm not having a go at David here by the way organisation harder to beat harder to beat whatever he got his result at St Mirren and I think he was looking forward to the challenge of next year now I'm not privileged
to know what the conversations are behind closed doors.
But I know one thing about Marv, he comes out there and he tells it from the heart.
I don't think he's just putting it out there on social media for everybody feeling sorry for him.
He's obviously being guaranteed, you know, reassurances of going forward.
and it's been taken away from him and I credit him because football is very hard to get in now it's a manager's job I think it's a decent club in the championship they could bounce right back of course they could but sometimes you've got to look at your pride and the principles of who you're working what you're working with and to be fair to the big guy he stood by his principles and well done to him Do you think it just reflects badly on the club overall Ewan is that the kind of impression I'm getting from you?
The one thing, Brian, we all know is facts, right?
He's not been sat in an office and said, do you know what, Marv?
Keep us up, you get the job.
But if you go down, then we might look elsewhere.
Because Livy was down.
They were gone.
They were well gone, right?
But he went in there and brought a bit of pride back to them.
Everybody was talking about August the 9th since the last one, a league game.
Eventually went to St Mirren, got that victory.
As you say, hard to beat.
Competed well against Rangers as well.
