we've been doing here in illinois which is eliminating medical debt so many people on average people have about two thousand dollars in medical debt a lot of people a whole lot of people and we've eliminated that for 500 000 people in the state of illinois we've eliminated their medical debt didn't cost much by the way for 10 million dollars we were able to eliminate a billion dollars of debt

Now we did that in Cook County and the state of Illinois, $10 million each.

So that's $2 billion of medical debt we got rid of.

We should be doing that nationally.

We should be protecting people from these old debts that are, you know, they, you got into a car accident, you got sick, not your fault.

Things just happened.

An accident happened, something unexpected happened.

You shouldn't have to live the rest of your life with, you know, with

collectors call, you know, collection agencies calling your, your house or your credit rating going down.

So that's something we've taken care of in the state of Illinois.

And we're continuing to do here that we could do nationally and then junk feeds.

I mean, we all see it every time, you know, every time you buy a ticket to a game somewhere, or you even going to a restaurant or ordering something online, you see these little charges, uh,

that you never thought existed before.

And it's just sucking money out of your wallet.

We've got to stop that.

And we've got a bill right now before our legislature to do exactly that.

So one last thing, homeowners insurance and auto insurance.

Here in Illinois, one of the companies here announced they're raising homeowners insurance 27% this year.

Twenty seven percent.

Right.
