The most important thing is that this fear of failure is actually like stopping you from a whole life that you don't know you could have.
Because I think particularly, again, with the increased convenience, increased amount we see people succeed, all of these different things, we just are programmed now for convenience and success at the earliest opportunity.
And it's just not conducive to getting to where you want to get to.
even if your job is completely safe, that social construct that if you worked hard and earned an average salary, you'd be able to buy an average house or a house at all and have two and a half kids and be able to... Go on.
It also doesn't exist.
So it's like, yeah, you're so right.
It's like the reframing of you've been promised this one thing in this job.
So if you're doing anything else, you're taking a risk.
Actually, now both of those are risks.
So it's like, which one are you going to do?
Why is it the best thing for you?
What's best suited to you?
What's going to get you there faster?
All of that.
And I think in this whole conversation around failure, which I think is incredibly important, it's easier to sit in hindsight and say fear of failure is holding you back.
Failure is one of the best things that can happen to you.
All of this.
What about in that moment?

who has just lost their job or they didn't get their dream job that they've been working for and believe they are highly qualified for or they didn't get into the university they want to or they just failed some school exams, whatever.
