There's a lot of work that needs to happen on that roster before you can say that this is the guy that puts us over the edge.

We could say right now, as we sit here today, teams in the Western Conference that are better than Edmonton,

Colorado, Dallas, Vegas, Utah, Anaheim, Minnesota.

Six teams in four seconds.

So they're more than that.

That's one issue.

But they got they got a lot more issues than that.

In a very nice way, I am going to say thanks, but no thanks.

You're not the right voice for this team right now because I think if we look back at Bruce Cassidy over the past couple jobs that he has had, yes, he won a Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights, and he is widely regarded as one of the best, most detailed coaches in the NHL.

He also grinds guys to the point where they question, can they even play at this level anymore?

And maybe he's got a different way of doing it than Babs.

I don't know.

Like, I obviously never played for Bruce Cassidy, but it happened in Boston.

They fired him.

It just happened in Vegas.

They had to fire him.

And John Tortorella was the tender touch that they hired in place of Bruce Cassidy.

Just think about that for a second.

So doesn't that tell you about what was going on in Vegas?

I would say where our team is at right now, we don't need the yelling and screaming.
