We don't need the get your heads out of your you-know-whats.
We need something a little bit different.
So great coach, maybe not the right fit here right now.
See, last night after the game, when we were doing our post game hits, I basically said the same thing.
Like, I have no read on where this thing is going to go.
Flip a coin and wherever it lands, that's who's going to win this thing.
But I thought about it more today.
If you're Carolina and you stop giving up breakaways and two on ones and quick transitions.
where is Vegas going to get their offense from?
Because I feel like the Vegas Golden Knights have really preyed on what Carolina is doing in regards to being over-aggressive with the Packer defensemen, getting involved in the play a little too much, and they're countering it.
If you clean up that aspect, then in theory, Carolina's in a really good spot.
But to your point, Hayes, and maybe you guys have talked about this earlier,
There's like a wild X factor in Brandon Bussey in being in net for Carolina, which he he was really good when he needed to be late in that game.
Like the save on Eichel with like seven and a half minutes to go.
And then in the last couple of minutes, there was a lot of action, but it never looked totally settled.
Like you just watch him and you're like, there's a lot of.
There's a lot of net there.
So we'll see kind of how it plays out.
But it just kind of felt like it felt like if Carolina cleaned up some of the stuff they were doing, they were going to be in a really good spot moving forward.
It was our fault.
