My mother wasn't very regimented.
She didn't have us doing anything.
So it was what you wanted to do.

I think I hung out in the parking lot of my high school.
She also lived in the city.
When you live in the country, your mother would say, go back and go outside and play.
You can't go out and play in your bed on the street.
