I think you have to be respectful, and I think you have to share. It's the one day a mother is a mother. You do have a husband that has a mother, so you have to be just as kind to him as you would be to your mother. Naturally, You don't feel the same probably towards her as you do your mom. Many times you do.

I mean, I was very close with my mother-in-law, and I would do the same thing I did for my mom as I did for her. But that's unusual. I think most people don't. But if you're in the same city, you certainly should spend time together. If the families don't usually do it together, then do one for lunch and one for dinner. Or do one for a late brunch.
