Luckily, Clutch just released this comprehensive new report, breaking down exactly how small businesses are navigating AI crawlers, and the results might surprise you.
See, Clutch surveyed 320 SMBs to get their reactions, finding 72% of businesses are worried about them, 71% have been hit by bot traffic already, and 42% even cite bandwidth issues coming from AI.
But on the flip side, 62% say AI search has been a net positive, with 60% reporting more revenue, 42% more traffic, and 44% more leads.
However, 57% are still just bluffing AI crawlers entirely.
So digital pests or secret growth hack?
Either way, crawlers are here to stay.
Just make sure they're working for you, not against you.

It's like perfectly rational.
Exactly.
Right.
Are you now competing with OpenAI for GPUs to train all these?
Where's the training happening?
