It never will be again.
But it still has a lot of talent.
We're all going to become providers of talent
to India if we're not careful.
But if a player gets signed for $2 million, say 10% of that 200 grand maybe doesn't come out of that 2 million, but another 10% goes to the board that developed that talent.
Otherwise,
We're all left to die on the vine.
So I wasn't trying to be alarmist, but I was trying to drag people as far to that side into the future to realise that this is what's coming if we don't make some stands at some point.
Or are we just happy to let it go that way?
And if we are, that's the way it is.
It's going to be difficult.
There's no doubt that I think
Quite a few horses have gone from the stable already.
You know, we've just got to make sure that unless we want them all to charge out and go in that direction, then some decisions, some discussion needs to be made and answer those sort of questions.
What can we do?
I'm not sure that there's a lot that can be done, but at least make sure you get what you need before the last horse has gone out of the stable, otherwise it'll be too late.
sort of feel that sometimes about anything in our lives.
What can one voice do?
We're, if you'll excuse, pardon the French, but we're fighting against thunder.
And that was what I felt a little bit about the Imran thing, that one voice in the wilderness, it's not going to make that much difference.
