There are plenty of examples in world cricket.
The world has changed, I know, in the sense that with professional cricket, guys are playing longer.
So that's all the more reason why the selection process has to be pretty robust.
And you have to look for those champions.
You don't find them if you don't look for them.
And perhaps if you don't know what you're looking for, that's another issue.
But the champions identify themselves.
You don't have to look that hard because talent is pretty obvious.
it's not only about talent, it's about belief, it's about the mental make-up and all of those things that the great players have been certainly blessed with or they have.
We're going to go through a period where there will be a little bit of a changeover, no doubt.
But I think Australian cricket's in a pretty healthy state at the moment.
