He got offered the job later on.
And, you know, I used to run into Dennis Miller on Monday Night Football when I was doing the Westwood One broadcast.
Yeah.
You know, and I think that was part of Joel Hollander who was running Westwood One at that time and who was also β
was running WFAN at one point in time.
People know the name out there, and he's kind of like my godfather of radio.
That's the way I look at him.
He used to say to me, he goes, oh, you're going to love going to Monday Night Football and seeing those guys.
I'm like, why am I going to love that?
He goes, oh, you're just going to love it because that was his radio mentality.
Sure.
This is going to be great.
And I remember talking to Dennis Miller a number of times on the elevator up to the press box, and he's like, man, I can't.
This is like the criticism that was coming his way.
He used to complain that, you know, this is like β it's unbelievable.
