Not really.
I was running two different kinds of application shops.
So altogether, we've built more than 200 different products for our customers.
Tell me what an application shop is.
So I've had a software house in Shanghai that was focused on providing enterprise class software outsourcing services.
And I also had a social media company that was building different kind of social applications.
And I also had a gamification company that was building different kind of products.
from simple advert games to very advanced enterprise platforms that were helping employees of big corporations such as Private Waterhouse, Hoopers, or MTV to learn new things and interact with each other.
Yes, that was the first company that I started when I was 21.
And the other ones were rather product companies, not service companies.
It was pretty cheap.
It was about $700 per person.
Over what amount of time?
For a month, but still the quality wasn't really good.
So at some point we decided to move the whole company to Poland because we prefer to pay much more, but for a better quality of development.
So at all of my previous companies, I was always involved in new business activities and I was kind of struggling to grow my businesses very fast.
So to be completely honest, with the first company, I was just waiting for customers to come.
And my whole acquisition strategy was based on customer referrals.
So I was doing almost nothing to acquire more customers.
With the next companies, I was improving, but still it was never a hockey stick growth for those companies.
