He beat you with tactics and movement, and he would use the tactic against me, open me up on the forehand, get into the backhand side, and keep him away.
For me, again, it was serving my spots, mixing him up, and keeping him off balance.
My game was really simple.
Because my strategy was very similar with a lot of people.

If I get a break, it's a bonus.
And give your opponent no rhythm.
And that's why they didn't enjoy playing me.
Plus, I brought a huge intensity to the court, which they didn't always like.

I had too much respect for Boris.
I just thought, wow, I saw him win in 85, and I lost to him in Australia in 96 when he won his last major, and I lost in five sets.
I had a lot of opportunities.
But he just had this aura.
He could find a way to make the shots when he needed to.
He, again, really was one of those original servant volleyers.
And it's very similar tactics with a lot of players, but you've got to make them feel uncomfortable.
