We don't have that on the United States.
And so there's a lot of reliance, I think, on the coach.
There's a lot of reliance on how good the goaltending is.
And again, at the end of the day,
Is this roster constructed correctly?
Because I've been screaming it from the rooftop since they put it together.
This is a team designed to beat Canada when it's a team that should be designed to be Canada.
Like, put Lane Hudson on the roster.
Put Cole Caulfield on the roster.
best and brightest offensive stars that we have in the talent pool on this roster and just steamroll everybody.
But instead, it's built more towards the grit and grind.
I like to call it red, white and blue pilled from 1980, you know, where they believe they need a bunch of lunch pail guys and every American hockey roster in order to to win in the Olympics.
I would have preferred to have just seen them put the pedal down, flex on how deep the talent pool is amongst goal scorers and go from there.
But that's not the team they built.
Gavin McKenna got himself in a bit of trouble over the past week.
First of all, it's like NCAA hockey, just not on the level of basketball and football where they can't just make this thing disappear.
Like they do for every other athlete that's ever gotten in trouble.
Um, so listen, man, it's a serious deal.
I mean, he's got a felony one charge for, for, you know, allegedly breaking someone's jaw in a, in a fight outside a bar.
And, um, you know, the, the, the process begins next week insofar as the preliminary hearing and everything else.
