I love it that people are engaged and passionate.
But I think perspective is so important.
So, yeah.
One of my mantras, one of the pieces of wisdom, if you like, that I live my life by is that on their deathbed, no one will ever go, I wish I'd spent more time arguing with people on the internet.
I wish I'd traveled more.
I wish I'd met more people.
I wish I'd had more children or whatever it is.
It'll never be that.
And I mean, I consider myself to be a little bit old fashioned like this, but I am constantly amazed
by how some people can literally spend hours of every precious day that they have on this beautiful planet of ours arguing with a stranger in another country over something that most of the time is totally trivial.
I really do feel it's like, you know, we are on Earth for such a short period of time.
Sure.
you know stand your ground and defend what is defend what is important to you and it's not to say that argument isn't isn't uh isn't a great way of of communicating and working out our differences and working out how we feel about things but at the end of the day like you know it's not the most important thing but some for some people it seems to be their whole life you know which is which is crazy some some of the creators build their brand off
Yeah.
I think it's really important to, you know, to feel it's like, well, what do you want?
Do you want millions of people?
engaging with what you're saying and getting angry about it and stoking all that hate?
Or wouldn't it be much better to just have a small community of people who are engaged with what you say, who aren't there for drama or whatever like that?
I think we confuse, we sometimes confuse big numbers with happiness.
And actually, I think so many people try so hard to please everyone or to attract the largest number of people to their views or their platform.
