And one of his friends said to me as I was writing this book, he said, oh, I read Notable British Trials.

I read The Crippen Trial, and I just like, breaks were just screeching in my mind.

I said, oh,

You must not read that.

It will just taint your brain.

It's full of the worst type of outdated thinking.
