I mean, yeah, look, it's not like the traditional media hasn't made mistakes.
But yeah, certainly, like...
Just consuming a tweet or an Instagram post that someone hasn't given much thought to is different to someone that's written a book that's taken them 10 years to research and write.
So, you know, there's different filters that apply there for sure.
you know, we all have a relationship with the media that we consume and it's evolving fast, right?
Like if I go and do a lecture or talk to a room of people about these issues, I'll often ask them to begin with about like where they get their media from.
And generationally, it's quite different.
You know, obviously people that are in the kind of boomer generation are still maybe relying on newspapers a bit more, watch the evening news.
But then as you go to younger demographics, you
that shifts to the point where, you know, people in that sort of 18 to 30 year old age demo is now mostly getting their news and information from social media.
And people will trust those things in different ways.
People will have, you know, nervousness about certain forms of media that others don't.
You know, a young person say, well, there's no way I would watch
the evening news on commercial TV because that's the mainstream media and they're corrupt and they're controlled.
And I wouldn't read these newspapers because that's owned by a billionaire and they have these particular views that I disagree with.
So they would have distrust.
Equally, someone my mum's age might think, well, I feel quite nervous about going onto Instagram or Twitter.
I wouldn't really read any articles.
