And I'm actually very comfortable being here on the This is Uncomfortable podcast.
When I first heard about prediction markets, I really felt like they were just the natural next step in what had already kind of been happening with the broader, like, casinification of the economy.
I find it to be not surprising, but also, you know, equally concerning about how quickly it's grown, how embedded it's become in, like, all these different areas of our culture and economy.
And, you know, it doesn't seem to be slowing down at all.
So I've been studying gambling behavior since 2005.
And there's a couple of basic things we know.
We know gambling has been part of humankind since the dawn of humankind.
But in the last 30 years, the kind of games and opportunities we can spend our money on has changed dramatically.
You fast forward to what prediction markets are.
They were a direct byproduct of, oh, gambling is normal.
Gambling is expected.
And how can I create a business that...
skirts and avoids gambling regulation and that's prediction markets and i think that's super super interesting to me because it really is a symbol of what's happening in a culture very quickly yeah can you all give me a sense of like what is one of the wildest markets that y'all have seen will jesus return in 2027 that's the one that always comes to mind too

And I think one of the things that I'm most concerned about is
