Yeah, you've summed it up there really, Neil.
It's like we talked about it last week kind of being the end of this kind of current journey for this crop of players.
And like we've talked about it and, you know, building a following, building momentum on the green wave and the support that's going with the team.
And for it to culminate the way it did on Sunday, as you said, with an emphatic win as they had, absolutely trouncing Scotland.
And given the 32,000 early people that were there, something to really cheer about every couple of minutes.
It was fantastic.
And I think no more than this group deserved that.
you know, is that every, every team has a journey and this group has certainly been on one from over the last number of years and to kind of culminate to the end point of being in the national stadium in front of that big crowd is, was very, very fitting of the, for the, for the end of the campaign.
Yeah, I think that's the difference we've seen of this team in the last year.
And I think particularly in this campaign, yes, they've talked a real big game in terms of the hype putting up for the matches and what they want to achieve.
And he said.
no more than mentioned in the England and the France games.
Yes, things didn't go to plan there, but yeah, the three home fixtures, you can say what you like about the opposition, but ultimately you've got to go out there and do the business on the day.
And Ireland did that three times at home, both in Galway, Belfast and in Dublin.
And you're only able to play against the team that's in front of you and for Ireland to go out and implement their own game plan, probably less so against Wales, but certainly against Italy and Scotland, we saw what this team are capable of.
And as you said, those emphatic,
emphatic scorelines are just a kind of a sign of what's to come and we see when this team gets into full flow and when it's everyone's in sync and everyone's singing off the same hymn sheet it's a pretty good thing to watch when it's in full flow.
Yeah, I think that's always the fear, as you said, like for such a big occasion, the fear is always that it gets a little bit too much or you get a little bit distracted by the sideshow of what's going on at the promos and the
the pressers that are involved and having to go out and kind of almost sell the tickets for it and trying to get as big a crowd and set the records and it becomes about the statistics more than the game on the pitch and I think the girls would have been acutely aware of that the whole week and they would have known that they have talked this up that three home wins is the least that you know that they were hoping for out of this campaign and
And I think from even from seeing them come out for warm ups or even I think your most telling thing is when they're walking out in the tunnel and coming out for anthems, you get a real feel for how people are feeling and how nervous people are, how emotional people are and how it's going to affect them.
