Let's talk about here and now we have Super Rugby Opiki starting a later start date than people are used to.
Can you just talk us through the thinking behind that, please?
Just, yeah, on that, it doesn't really feel particularly ideal though, does it, that you have Braxton Sorensen-McGee, Georgia Miller and the Sevens players not really assured of whether they're going to be actually playing in this or not.
Where is New Zealand rugby at on perhaps flipping the balance of this because it feels like the Sevens players are committed to this format that takes them overseas and away from people that want to see them play live.
Is there any sort of strategy about turning that around and having them more in the public eye here in New Zealand?
A couple of other names I want to throw at you, Kaipo Olsen-Baker and Amy Duplessis both signing on.
How good does that feel from where you're sitting?
How similar is it to the men in terms of right now we look at the All Blacks and we have the lure of a World Cup and a men's Lions Tour and exactly sort of how that's going to affect their decision making along how long they're going to sign on.
Is that kind of similar to the way you're approaching the Black Ferns as well?
Yeah, and just as we finish up, just on those pinnacle events, obviously we just talked about the World Cup, which was a stunning success last year.
We have a Lions Tour, which I'm sure will be a stunning success as well.
WXV, where's sort of that whole concept at?
And you mentioned talking about how we're going to use these years in between World Cups to make sure that they develop and make sure the players are up for World Cups.
What else is in the pipeline around those times when we're not going to be seeing them playing at World Cups?
Yeah, massive schedule later up on that greatest rivalry tour.
Black Ferns and Springbok won playing before the All Blacks in Springboks in Cape Town.
I'm going to be there.
You're going to be there?
Oh, sorry, Joburg.
My bad.
